Yasmin Shariff is a director of Dennis Sharp Architects and Education consultant to Eric Parry Architects.

She taught at the University of Westminster for over fifteen years and has worked with major practices including Populous, Pringle Brandon, ACP and Jestico & Whiles. Her introduction to Arcologies and the Festival of Islam exhibition at the AA in 1976 remain the two core influences in her career as an architect, environmental activist and teacher. Her projects range from renovations to Grade 1 Listed buildings including Robert Adam’s first project in London (Chandos House); Grade 2 Listed buildings at Ascot Racecourse to experimental structures including Strawdance, a strawbale dance studio in Hertfordshire. She is currently the Honorary Secretary of the AA and Chair of AA XX 100.
