Sarah Bissett Scott

Artist and regeneration consultant

A regeneration consultant, doctoral research student at Anglia Ruskin University, and artist: Sarah has contributed to politics and policies for regenerating places and empowering communities across many areas in the UK since she graduated from the Architectural Association’s Urban and Regional Planning course in 1978.   From her days at the GLC as a policy advisor, then on to heading a regional economic research unit, next developing regeneration schemes for the urban area of Luton, and more recently working with RISE Associates she has continued to engage people and institutions in neighbourhood growth plans. For the exhibitions of 2012 and 2014 Sarah returned to her home of 16 years – North Kensington and Notting Hill – to interpret the changes regeneration brings to a community.
